~~NOVEMBER 9, 2007~~

I just lost a note that I typed so I will try one more time and then well I
might just cry!!
CA and I started out rather early this am so we could eat breakfast before
we headed out on some site-seeing. We had planned to go out to eat for lunch
so didn't want to eat breakfast too late so we would be hungry.
The Taylors and our family went with the guide to the Chen Family Folk Art
Museum. We had been there one time before when we adopted SJ in Feb. of
2004. It was really nice to visit again. They change exhibits regularly so
much of it was things we had not seen before. After we got done there we
went to a Buddist Temple. It was nice, and the weather was perfect! 80
degrees and sunny. Who could ask for anything more!
After that we went to a Restaurant that specializes in Manchurian Cuisine.
It was a lot like the food that we enjoyed in Harbin last June when we
adopted EM. We had dumplings that were great! Ram, eggplant and potato, a
bread that was really good, sweet and sour pork! Everyone seemed to enjoy it
very much.
After we got back home SF and JM took naps. CA and I checked out some blogs
and I read a bit.
This evening we walked around the island. SF wanted to do a bit of shopping
before he heads out in the am. He has a 5am wake-up call. Hopefully the rest
of us can get back to sleep after that. His flight leaves at 8:30 am to
Tokyo and then gets home late morning.
I'm sure MR will be glad to see her dad! I know he will be glad to see her
