HAPPIER THINGS TO REPORT

We got a call this afternoon and our newest God-daughter has made a safe arrival into the world. She was born last night only an hour and 45 minutes after her parents arrived at the hospital!
Teagan Marie weighs 5#91/4oz and is 18 inches long.
She is already loved by many!

EM's splint and keeping it elevated

This is our attempt to keep EM's arm elevated! He is doing well. Hopefully the swelling will be less in the next couple of days.

What not to do on a Sunday afternoon!

EM was playing with his friends after church today. It was a nice afternoon and they were messing around in the bed of our Priest's truck. Not a good thing to do...but they are boys! Well according to EM he lost his balance and this is the result. A few hours later in the Emergency room and we are home with his arm in a splint. We will see an Orthopedic MD on Friday to hopefully cast it!
It will put a crimp in his swimming and Lake activities...but hopefully in 6 weeks it will be healed and good as new.

ETCHINGS!

When we were in China to adopt JM, I had etchings made of the oldest  three kids. Since the youngest photo I had of EM was at  2 1/2, I had each of them done from photos of the kids at that age. Well, since JM is now past that age I had our friends have one done of JM while they were in CHina!
It is nice to have one of each of the kids!

BLESSED FAMILIES!

We have had the blessing of making friends with 2 families that were united with their daughters this month!
Both OLIVIA and SHILOH are now home in the USA with their wonderful families!
So good to have them home!

CHURCH CAMP

MR spent a week at church camp. She was gone from the 28th of June till the 5th of JULY! She had a wonderful time. It was funny before she went, friends had said, "boy that is a long time to be away from home!" I thought well she was used to it as she had stayed with family  and friends when we went to China...but as it turned out I think her dad and I thought 8 days got to be a long time!! It was great to have her home!

TRIP TO OHIO

Our family made a trip to OHIO to visit family last month. We were gone 10 days. We had a great time...it afforded us the opportunity to get family photos. We didn't have a photo of my parents with all children and grandchildren since we adopted EM and now we have JM too.
So we were glad to get that done!
