~~ORGANIZATION?~~

OK, as many of you know...organization is not my strong point! SF laughs and says he has looked for something in all of my normal "hiding" spots...do I have any idea where X might be? Usually I don't know. I try, I'm just not good at it. All that being said the kids helped me try and organize our pantry today. We hve shelves in the basement and then a nice cupboard in the kitchen that were really a mess. They look much better now and I will try and keep them that way. I know it wont last too long, but I will do my best.

I must admit I found I have 20 cans of tomato paste. I guess I bought them when I bought canned tomatoes and used the tomatoes at a much quicker rate than the paste! Oh well. I admit my shortcomings and do my best!

MR thought it was really funny that I would have so many of one thing!

We took the kids to a volleyball game tonight. SF's school had their first home game, so we thought it would be a good idea to support them! They won and the kids did really well. JM enjoyed the bleachers and actually seemed to enjoy watching the girls get all excited!

It is nice to say that we are all healthy again. And hoping it might last awhile!

~CARD TOWERS~

Yesterday the kids got out the decks of cards. They were playing games to start and then started to build. Michaela ended up using 4 decks of cards. Pretty interesting what they can find to entertain themselves with.
SF has his first day of school today. Hard to believe 8 years ago he started there, just a 6 days after I got home from China with MR. It has been a busy 8 years!
All for now!

~~FUN WITH OUR FRIEND~~

The kids were able to have some fun last week. Before everyone started getting "sick". Their friend from church LEO came over one day last week. They were catching bugs with the nets...They are mesh. So they caught themselves too.
Then the boys went on a bike ride on Sunday with a group from church. They rode 3 miles along the river and EM kept up without too much trouble. SJ and I went to the park for the picnic, but the rest stayed home.
SJ got a fever last night, so that should be the end of it, unless we start over. We have all had a fever in the last week, so hopefully now we can start to get back to "normal".
The students come to school tomorrow at SF's school and classes actually begin on Thursday. So good-bye summer. Where did it go?

Girl's Turn??

Well, Not sure if both the girls are going to get it or not...but MR wasn't acting right at church this am. She was cold, but the room was cold. Didn't really think much about it. But by the time we were getting ready to go on a bike ride, I realized she was feverish. Sure enough 101.2. Thankfully she responded well to some Tylenol and had a good afternoon. Now at 8PM her temp is back up. Hopefully she can get a good nights sleep.
SF and JM stayed home from church this am, and they are both seeming some better. JM hasn't had fevers for 2 days. He is eating better as well. I guess the one good thing to say is it doesn't seem to last too long. A couple of days. So if SJ has to take her turn, we might be done with this by the weekend!
All for now.

~Update~

Just a quick note to let you know that we had a long day. EM seems to be doing well. He has not had a fever since last night. He says his "neck" hurts some...I think he means his throat. But he has eaten well and played today. So I think he is winning.
SF went to school and seems to be doing better.

Now hopefully JM will improve overnight and do better tomorrow. He has had a fever most of the day. Comes down with meds and then goes back up. We have spent a good part of the day rocking. He does well for a bit then cries and wants to rock. He isn't eating much and drinking only fair. Hopefully he will sleep tonight. Thanks for the prayers.
I will keep you posted.

Where are these fevers coming from??

It has been a day of fevers. JM seemed just a bit slow this morning. Ready to take a nap about the time he got up! I checked his temp and sure enough...102.2.
Later in the day EM said he felt hot. 101.2.
SF has had a cold for a couple of days and hasn't felt right.
The boys don't seem to have cold symptoms, but have the fevers. Please pray these fevers leave as quickly as they came!

Thanks.

~PHOTOS OF THE PARTY~

~~JM TURNS TWO~~

JM had a wonderful second birthday yesterday! Fun was had by all. We went to lunch with Alick our 92 year old friend and then had dinner at Lucky China with JM's God-parents, EM's Godparents and another really good friend from Church.

The photos include the "cards" that the kids made for JM. Monday they disappeared into the girls room and made the wrapping paper and "cards". I didn't even ask them to.

SJ's is the rainbow
MR wrote the note and helped EM write Happy Birthday and Ilove you.

I will try and post more photos later.

~JM and his "SILLY SISTERS"~

Yesterday...Scott took these photos of JM and MR in the crib...not sure how it happened that they were being silly in the crib...but this morning I was in the basement and heard JM crying. Went upstairs to find him with this new hairdo! At first I feared he had gotten in the water (somewhere) and was just wet. But after further investigation I found out SJ was giving him a new Hair-do! Oh being the youngest can be trying at times!

~MR's GOTCHA DAY ANNIVERSARY!~

The reality that we became parents eight years ago today and that we have adopted 3 times since that day to make our family what it is today is a bit overwhelming!
It was 8 years ago in Yueyang, Hunan, China that I was handed our beautiful daughter! 6 other families adopted little girls that day as well. We have kept in touch and it is amazing the special things that were in store for each of these families that we would have never guessed back in 2000! Five of the seven families have adopted again. Most of them more that once! We have all been blessed!
Our family went to the County fair today. It was a special time. We ended the day by eating at our favorite Chinese Restaurant in town. They spoil us there and it was nice!
MR we love you so and can not imagine our lives with out you!
Enjoy a few photos from our  First Gotcha Day!!

~FUN IN THE WATER~

We went to a friend's B-day party last evening. They set up a slip-n-slide! JM thought the water was just great! He laughed and laughed and enjoyed putting his face right in the water!
Fun was had by all!
Thanks ~TOOT~
