A NEW MISSION TO CHINA

THIS MOM USED TO WORK FOR THE AGENCY THAT WE ADOPTED THE GIRLS WITH.
THIS IS AN AMAZING STORY

-- The boy was near age 6 when he was abandoned in 1998. Police found him under a bridge in Luoyang, a city in eastern China. Unable to learn how he got there or where he came from, officers deposited him at a busy orphanage in town.

EM's NEW CAST

EM got a new cast on Monday. Thankfully the bones are both healing! Well enough that the MD put on a new cast that he can get wet...even swim with! It has been a bit of an adjustment...but I think he will like it much better. He has an appointment to get it off Sept. 21st. That will be 8 weeks and one day since he broke it! Hope all goes well. Thankfully it is his left arm and he is right handed, as school starts on the 8th of September.

FUN WITH FRIENDS IN WESTERN MN

We were able to spend a couple of days in western MN with friends from church! They baked JM a birthday cake and allowed us to crash with them for 2 days!! The kids all got along so well...I could not believe it. We are so blessed to have such an amazing church family! Thanks so much for having us!! Love you guys!

FUN AT THE LAKE

We were fortunate to spend a week at a lake in WI with my parents and brother. We were there the first week of August. The temperatures were cool! Great lake weather and decreased the disappointment for EM, since he couldn't get in the water...(broken arm)!
We had a great time! Thanks Uncle Mark and Grandma and Grandpa...we love you guys
PS Mom caught the largest fish this year! I will post photos once I get them from my parents. All of the fish photos were taken on Grandmas camera and it went home to Ohio. None as big as EM's muskie from last year though!
