~TOGETHER AGAIN~

We had a surprise visit this weekend. Our longtime friends (through adoption) visited this am. We first met the Jinglebritches family back when we were waiting for our referral for SJ! They were waiting for Z! Between us we have adopted 6 kids from China! I hoped our kids would be growing up together here in MN! Well they had to move last year...but we still stay in contact! It was so great to have them over! and to see all the kids together! Enjoy the photos of my trip down memory lane! This family met SJ before her grandparents did! As they were in China to get Z when we got SJ! LOVE YOU GUYS!! Miss you already!

What a Month it has been

 

I just looked at our blog and realized it has been a month since I posted. Today we went to Dakota Village and saw the WWII re-inactment that look place there. It was very interesting and as MR is studying this at school now, timely!

 

About our month. Last post I had asked for you to remember our friend Alick as he was not doing well. I knew he was failing, but I was surprised when they called me the morning of April 27th to say when they went to get him up, He had passed. In many ways a blessing. At 94 1/2 he had lived a long and full life! We will miss him...but say MEMORY ETERNAL ALICK. We love you!

 

So we have spent a great deal of time trying to get our home back to a new sense of "normal". Since Alick lived with us for 4 months...that meant painting the boys room and putting furniture back! Thankfully my parents came out and that got done in record time. Our hearts ache, but today went and got Ice cream at his favorite place and then visited the cemetary. Difficult trips, but meaningful. Please remember our family as it is difficult to understand for the kids. Thanks I will try and post more often.
