~~ANOTHER STEP TOWARD COMING HOME DONE~~

JM woke up this morning about 5:30 am he wasn't really sure he wanted to get up, but didn't go back to sleep either. After listening to him for about 1/2 hour we decided he might be hungry so fed him. He took a good amount and that made him happier for a bit. He was just a bit out of sorts...so who knows...not like his life has been a bit goofy lately! We went down for breakfast and he fell asleep in the stroller that we borrowed from one of the shops yesterday! A good business move. They have strollers that adoptive families can borrow. Makes you think that buying stuff at their shop might be a good idea. One way or the other, we have benefited from the stroller already. So then it was off to the medical exam about 10am. It was a great day to have that done. When we got there they had to turn on the lights. So no waiting at any of the stations. Their are 3 stations. They did the strip search on the first one. Then the hearing and checked his mouth and ears...then height and weight. He is 30 inches long and 20.2# About what I would have guessed. The Visa photo was a bit of a challenge. He had to have his eyes wide open and in a particular way ...etc. etc.. we each tried about 4 times till we finally got one. It is really cute, but it did take an effort to get it.
Once that was all done I went and filled out the paperwork that we will need for the Visa. Decided I would complete it since I will be the one that is her for the CA on the 15th. SF heads back to the USA already on Saturday morning.
After the paperwork was done we went out on a walk and that was when JM fell asleep again. We hope to head across the bridge to see what is on the other side. They have a market and I'm not sure what else, but I think it will be interesting.
All for now.
