And then their were FOUR!!! SF and I are now able to say that we are the
proud parents of 4 beautiful children from CHINA. It was a long day waiting.
The children needed to be brought out from the orphanage so it was rather
late in the day till we finally met them.
We met our guide and one other family in the lobby of the hotel at 4PM and
headed to to Civil affairs office. When we arrived many families with
different agencies had already been united with thier families. They Taylors
got the word that their daughter would be coming first. She is just
adorable. She is 4 days older than JM, but is quite a bit bigger. Not long
after they met Grace they asked us if we were ready. OH YES...I have been
ready since I saw his photo is March! A nanny brought him out and handed him
to us. He just took everything in. He seems very alert and interested in
things around him. SF and I each held him and he thinks we are both OK. CA
took some photos and we spent a bit of time asking the orphanage questions
about his eating habits and sleeping routines. It wasn't long and we were
packing up to head to the hotel. SF and CA went in and I went with the guide
to pick up some formula and cereal. He seems to be on formula still, but I
think they have been adding things to it. He does a cute army crawl and
enjoyed playing with balls and a bell in the room. Our guide came by to
complete paperwork and JM fell asleep on the floor. After he woke up he took
a bottle! The nanny said he has a tendency to eat too quickly, but he did
oK. We got him changed and I tried to put him down. He didn't think that was
a good idea. They had told me that he slep on his tummy. Well I walked some
more. Each time I stopped he didn't think that was a good idea. Then I
decided to try the bed again. I put him in on his back and he quieted right
down. We will see how the night goes, but for now he is out and so are CA
and SF...I think I better join them. Getting sleep while he is asleep is
probably a good idea.
I was awake most of the night...last night...so I better try and get my
schedule adjusted now!
Thanks for all you prayers. They are greatly appreciated!
He is in a 12 month sleeper tonight. I think most of the clothes I brought
should work.
ALL for tonight!
